Gite 1, suitable for 2 people

Gîte 1
In the side wing of the maison de maître, the wine cellar and the coach house used to be on the ground floor, and the dry goods storage on the floor above. These spaces have been completely converted (only the roof structure and outer walls have been retained) into two lovely gîtes (holiday homes). In July and August, both gîtes are available for families with children aged twelve and over. In April, May, June and September, the gîtes (like the maison) are for guests aged sixteen and over.

Layout
Gîte 1 is a two-person cottage with a surface of 50 m2 divided over two floors. On the ground floor there is:

• a bedroom with a hotel box-spring double bed of 160 X 200 cm
• entrance door to the garden
• a separate toilet
• a bathroom with shower (in bath) and washbasin.

The first floor is reached via a fixed staircase with:

• a living-dining room with kitchenette
• a balcony with patio doors
• access to the hall, from which the rear parking lot can be reached.
  

It is possible to place one extra (folding) bed in the living room.

Contemporary comfort
The gîte has the typical 'terre cuite' floor tiles for the region. Together with antique cabinets, tables, chairs, this gives the gîte a lot of charm. The kitchen has complete kitchen equipment with stove (oven), microwave and refrigerator. There are tea and hand towels. There is a central extraction system and heating. If necessary, you can use our laundry service.

Sunny balcony
The living room has a glass front with patio doors to a lovely balcony; a large enclosed sunny terrace has been created through a recess in the roof surface, with a view of the garden and the mountains behind it. This glass front allows plenty of light.

Cleaning
In the two gites and studio there is a kitchen. The whole is used more and more extensively than a room and that requires more extensive cleaning than the rooms. We do not think it is realistic that you spend your last day of vacation in this way. That is why we take care of the cleaning (€50.00) so that you can enjoy La Cerisaie until the last minute! When booking the gîte, this is automatically charged.

Parking
At the rear of our terrain there is a parking lot. On arrival and departure you can park your car in front of the gîte to unload or load your luggage. From the rear, via a slightly sloping path, the central hall of the gîte is reached, which borders directly on the cherry orchard.

PS: If the B&B is not full, you can park your car on the grounds of La Cerisaie. If the B&B is full, you can park your car on the public parking behind the grounds.

Energy
The costs for gas, water and electricity are included. Use what you need, but we also ask you to consider the environment.

Bed and bath linen
Towels and bed linen are included in the price. Extra bed linen and/or changing of bed linen within one week can be provided on request (€5,- pp). Bath towels are not included in the price, but can be rented on request (€5,- ps).

Cleaning
In our experience, cleaning a gîte properly can easily take up to three hours. We don't think it's realistic to spend your last day of vacation like that. That's why we take care of the cleaning (€50) so that you can enjoy La Cerisaie until the last minute! When booking the gîte, this will be automatically charged.

Breakfast & Dinner
You can use the breakfast service in the maison daily for €13.00 pp. Two or three times a week we provide a three-course dinner (€30 pp), in which you can participate. In both cases, please inform us at least one day in advance.

Tourist tax: €0.90 per person per day.

Please note: Check out time for the gîtes is 10am in July and August.
